Today! Black Women Healing Retreats will host a Healing After The Death Of A Loved Ones Workshop.
In the face of someone's death, we sometimes slip into a state of silence, depression, and destruction, which can perpetuate internal suffering stemming from immense grief in response to the death of a loved one, someone you know, or even the thought of you or someone dying. In this workshop, you will be able to understand death, grief, and acceptance. Together you will discuss common notions about death and grief and journey into a death awareness meditation followed by a grief journaling exercise.
In this workshop, you will dive into the shadow work of death and make space for grief by acknowledging its remarkable imminence, learning about grief response, ways to cope with grief, and transcending our perception of death and grief into acceptance |
